With winter well on its way, the talented new culinary team led by Executive Chef Krisztian Herczig, at Hyatt Regency Brisbane’s iconic Lennons Restaurant and Bar, have curated a decadent Afternoon Tea that is sure to impress all guests this season.
Warm up upon arrival, as you sip on a cup of hot spiced Willie Smith Cider from the Huon Valley, Tasmania; followed by an amuse-bouche of roast pumpkin and coconut soup. Savoury highlights include smoked salmon and spinach wrap with dill and caper cream cheese, warm reuben on sourdough, and egg, chives and watercress on rye petit sandwich.
Get ready for the pièce de résistance, decadent cakes and desserts presented and delivered tableside on a trolley for your very own selection. Choose between a slice of zesty-light lemon cake with white chocolate frosting, rich date cake with salted caramel sauce or Queensland pear and Mascarpone trifle.
Originally from Peru and having spent 14 years in the Canary Islands Spain, Pastry Chef Regina Rabanal has an impressive International and Australian restaurant background. Inspired by her grandmother, a pastry chef and mother also a wonderful baker “I am most passionate about my artistry of pastry and most importantly to see the happiness from those enjoying my creations is what I truly love. I am excited to welcome all to experience my Afternoon Tea” says Chef Regina.
