The Hotel Windsor Melbourne wanted to increase the awareness of it’s new afternoon tea menu.

Our Approach

High Tea Society ran a Facebook Competition and Social Media Campaign. The prize was a night’s stay in a Deluxe Room at The Hotel Windsor, with late check out and Afternoon Tea for two. Prize valued at $620.

Campaign promotions:
– Competition page on the website
– Side bar tout on the website
– Featured in the High Tea Society monthly email newsletter. {12,000 subscribers}
– 3 Facebook posts {28,000 fans}
– 4 tweets {6,300 followers}
– Mentions on our Instagram, Pinterest and Google+ profiles.

The Results

In a space of ten days, the Facebook Competition and Social Media campaign received: 2,192 entries and the 3 Facebook posts where seen by 120,812 people, with 4,894 likes, comments and shares. The competition page {remains live} and has so far received 1,322 views and continues to send traffic back to The Hotel Windsor website.
