Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park is inviting families and guests to create lifelong memories when Teddy Bears will be taking over the hotel in a series of heart warming events and activities in partnership with multi-generational brand Build-A-Bear. Guests of all ages can enjoy Teddy Bear High Tea, a Teddy Bears Picnic and a Build-A-Bear Heart Ceremony followed by a high tea buffet. As part of this partnership, the hotel is working with Bear Cottage, the only children’s hospice in NSW. Guests will have the opportunity to donate to Bear Cottage to support children with life-limiting conditions and respite care.

Enjoy The Gallery’s quintessential high tea experience with a nostalgic twist. Delight in a three tiered high tea with traditional favourites like Egg Mayonnaise Finger Sandwich on white bread, Wild Mushroom & spinach Quiche and scones, and special teddy bear themed sweet treats including teddy bear honey almond cake and teddy bear cake pops. Ignite your inner child with your very own exclusive Sheraton Build-A-Bear to keep.

Teddy Bear High Tea Buffet
Enjoy sweet teddy bear themed treats including triple chocolate teddy bear cake, teddy bear tartlets and cupcakes and teddy bear Sheraton Honey Crème Brulee. Cold and hot savoury items will also be in abundance as well as traditional scones with jam and cream. Gluten free and vegan options are also available. To elevate your experience, opt for an endless flow of sparkling wine to accompany your tea and coffee.

Teddy Bears’ Picnic
Collect your exclusive Sheraton Build-A-Bear and picnic hamper with bear inspired treats to take on a journey across the road to Hyde Park and enjoy your very own Teddy Bear’s picnic with your new furry friend. Each hamper includes fresh salads, crusty baguettes and sandwiches, charcuterie and artisan cheese. Sweet treats include traditional scones, red velvet cake and teddy bear themed honey almond cake, teddy bear cake pops and teddy bear cookies.

Teddy Bear High Tea Buffet and Build-A-Bear Workshop
Build-A-Bear are known for their bear workshops where guests can pick a furry friend and bring it to life with a Heart Ceremony. Build-A-Bear will be recreating this special ceremony at Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park on the first Saturday of the month up until December. Build-A-Bear will be onsite for two sessions; 11:30am and 2pm. Each guest will receive a Sheraton Build-A-Bear to keep. Following the completion of the workshop, guests can indulge in the Teddy Bear High Tea Buffet.
